Today I took little time to know from where this small piece of plastic comes and changed our life for ever!

In modern days I see it was first invented in 1946 by John Biggins who used to work with "Flatbush National Bank of Brooklyn" NY. (is it still a bank in operation?? Not sure But a quick look at bank history records suggest this bank change its name few times and you can say its now days JPMorgan Chase Bank Or JPMorgan Chase manhattan Bank)

Diners Club were the next in linme to issue a proper credit card in USA.(1950)
VISA was first issued in 1958 (Not named as VISA but as BankAmericard) by Bank of America.

But I feel this may not be correct,did any one of us tried to look at old historical records of old states and empires for similar use of now days Credit cards?

The Big UK retailer TJX (apparel and home fashions etc... mainly in operation in Blackburn and Burnley) has been hit by internet thief's who stolen thousand of thousand credit cards details from their systems.

Its reported the encryption used by retailer system was braked.

This may have effected customers of chain since 2002 sales.

How You can protect yourself :
If you a dealer or website owner make sure you encrypt all your customers credit card data in encryption format.It may be good if you encrypt their CC names,expiry dates and numbers (all three) in different encryption logics.So if one is broken rest data is secured.
Also its very necessary that the code you use yourself(Like for website pages) for decrypting them is also encrypted so Only you know the logic and keys.Destroy the original keys after writing them to a secure place like your diary.

Next Time you see 'you can do quick money' or something like that on Phone ,do not believe it.
Ask the caller why he is doing a day job himself/herself when he/she can also do the same!

In past 1 month I have received several phone calls where caller first question will be "Sir This phone number is at a residence Or at a office".Of course I asked caller why its his business to know that and he give up.But I doubt my parents may have given him required info if they pick up the phone.

It has been widely reported that GET-rich schemes are spreading over by phone calls these day.Another possible problem now days is identity theft where some one pickpocket your wallet (Purse).People normally will block their Credit cards but thief may already have your Driving license and other govt. ID cards which can be used to purchase other credit cards.

also remember you have to fight your case in court or in appropriate forum if this happen to you and you have to pay huge lawyer fees to protect you from those fees.

In next few posts I will try to explain what you can do to protect yourself from these problems.
